What about a Portable Garden ?
There are many reasons why you may not be able to establish a permanent garden in your backyard. You may not own the house and the landlord may not allow this to happen. The soil may not be suitable. It may be that awful coastal plains sand. If you rent you should talk to your Landlord. If your Landlord won’t allow this you should look at a portable garden. I have both. A portable garden is one you keep in pots. This way, if you move you can take them with you. We have herbs, Tomato’s, Mint, Parsley, Spring onions, Broad beans, Capsicum, Rosemary, etc in pots.
I live in the foot of the Perth hills and my soil is clay and river sand and it will grow almost anything, however, I know most Perth soil is sand.
